My goals of music education will be to give everyone an appreciation for music, provide a creative outlet for students, and teach students collaboration skills through ensemble rehearsal. I believe everyone should have the chance to learn how music is made to promote a sincere appreciation for it that students can carry with them throughout their lives.  I want to build my students' self-esteem rather than being the wrecking ball to it. Within teaching, there is no "one size fits all" method. My job as a teacher will be to ensure that I meet the needs of all of my students through differentiating instruction and understanding my students' struggles and successes.
